honestly I pinch myself on a regular basis that I get to call this my 'job'.
I love working with couples who are wildly in love, and want an archive of photographs from the day that not only remind them how it felt to be there, but makes them say "I can't believe that's us". Couples that aren't afraid to be bold, to be themselves, to express their love freely. And most of all couples who want that mix of documentary style approach but with an editorial flair. soulful, joyful, elevated.
Why I do this
I'm an ex-Creative Director in the Fashion and Beauty world, educated in Photography, but it was only when planning my own wedding I realised that what I wanted didn't seem to exist. Someone fiercely passionate about documenting love, in all its forms, candid but also editorial and someone who I knew I could trust to capture all the people I love. I started out this journey shortly after this epiphany and have never looked back.
How I work
Relaxed, intentional, detail obsessed. My work and approach is rooted in trust. I want you to trust me enough that you can be fully present on the day, knowing I'm capturing every little moment, every styling choice, every detail. I'm also passionate about documenting the emotion of a moment so will spend time observing and anticipating when to be ready to preserve the memory of how it all felt. And when it comes to portraits, I will prompt and encourage, and make sure you end up with some Vogue-worthy photographs.
SOME Facts about me
I collect film cameras. I'm a huge greek mythology geek. Food is my love language. I am a mum to two wild, gorgeous boys. I have 5 tattoos. My coffee order is a Hazelnut Macchiato. My favourite film is When Harry Met Sally. I'm heavily inspired by fashion, textures and lighting. Music is my other passion, second to Photography. I hate being in front of the camera. Traveling makes me happy. I cringe at sharing facts about me.
